Yes, for conversion of a firm into a Limited Liability Partnership, an application shall be made in Form 17 along with the statement of partners. The application shall be submitted with such fees as may be prescribed.
The Registrar shall issue a certificate of incorporation under his seal in Form No. 19 on conversion of the firm into LLP. The LLP shall within fifteen days from the date of registration inform the Registrar of Firms about the conversion of firm into LLP in Form No .14.
