Bollywood film "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge", considered an ode to love by many, has started its 20th year of uninterrupted run at the iconic Maratha Mandir cinema hall. The film changed the course of the nation's cinema and became an unparalleled brand by catapulting itself into being the longest running film in the history of Indian cinema, read a statement from production banner Yash Raj Films.
It's The End, literally. Mumbai's Maratha Mandir cinema showed Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Bollywood's definitive romance, for the very last time on February 19, 1009 weeks - almost 20 years - after it began playing on October 19, 1995. An audience of 210 watched the final show.
