Well, according to a report from Dainik Bhaskar - Vaishali Sharma (Marketing Head of Sony Max) has shared that the rights for “Sooryavansham” have been purchased by them for 100 years.
To recover the cost they show that movie again and again.
And it is also the fact that Sooryavansham was released in 1999 which is the same year Set Max was launched.
