Saiyami Kher played the lead role in the movie Mirzya.
She has also acted in a Telugu film Rey. Kher is the granddaughter of yesteryear actress Usha Kiran and niece of Tanvi Azmi. Her mother Uttara Mhatre Kher was an ex Miss India.
She has won the Stardust Awards for The Superstar of Tomorrow for Mirzya and Dadasahep Phalke Awards - Best Debut Female for Mirzya.
