Sakshi Tanwar played the role of "Parvati" in the famous hindi TV serial Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. She has acted in other TV serials like Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Albela Sur Mela. She has also appeared in the 2016 blockbuster movie Dangal, she played the role of Daya Kaur, wife of former wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat (played by Aamir Khan).
