Steamboat Willie

The anthropomorphic mouse debuted in Disney's sound cartoon Steamboat Willie (1928). However, he had appeared earlier in two animated cartoons without sound - Plane Crazy (1928) and The Gallopin' Gaucho (1928) which were later released as sound versions.
