A Noise From the Deep

Mack Sennett's Keystone Kops comedy A Noise from the Deep (1913) contained the first instance in film of a pie being thrown in someone's face. In this instance, comedian Mabel Normand threw a pie into the kisser of Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle.
