Deborah Walley

Deborah Walley portrayed Frances Lawrence (or Gidget), taking over for Sandra Dee from the 1959 film, opposite James Darren reprising his role as Moondoggie. Sally Field portrayed Gidget in the ABC-TV series for one season beginning in 1965.
