Director Rakesh Kumar wanted to make Yaarana with Amitabh Bachchan but the actor was busy with other films. One day, Kumar checked Amitabh"s diary and saw that the superstar was free before 8 am. He then convinced the Big B to shoot between 7 and 8 am daily until the film was complete.
