'Avengers: Endgame' Ready For Rs 300Cr Club In Just 11 Days, Takes Over 4 All-Time Biggies

'Avengers: Endgame' turned out to be one of the most well-received films at the global box-offices in recent times. MCU fans thronged the movie theatres in Brobdingnagian waves, underlining the loyal (and almost fanatic) fanbase the franchise enjoys across the globe.

For proof, get this. In the very first week of its release, 'Avengers: Endgame' rocked the box office with collections that went well beyond Rs 260 crore. Not just that but it has also managed to break quite a few filmy records, not just in India, but internationally too.

In India, Salman Khan starrer 'Sultan' enjoys the highest first week box office collection at Rs 208.82 crore, followed by 'Tiger Zinda Hai' at Rs 206.04 crore and Ranbir Kapoor starrer 2018 hit 'Sanju' at Rs 202.51 crore. 'Baahubali 2' was the only film to challenge these numbers with it's first week box office earnings touching Rs 247 crore.

However, Marvel's 'Avengers: Endgame' has outdone each one of those milestones by a good margin, even exceeding the success of 'Avengers: Infinity War', which had collected Rs 226 crore in India.

'Avengers: Endgame' has managed to wipe out numerous lifetime numbers in the blink of an eye, by becoming the fastest movie to gross 2 billion dollars at the box office in just 11 days. It became the second highest grosser of all times after crossing 'Titanic' with 2.18 billion dollars.

Here are the four other all-time biggies to achieve this feat, making 'Avengers: Endgame' the fifth film to score over 2 billion dollars at the box office so quickly.

1. Avatar

The 2009 science fiction epic film directed by James Cameron had earned 2.78 billion dollars.

2. Titanic

The 1997 epic romance and disaster film, also directed by James Cameron, has 2.18 billion dollars to its credit.

3. Star Wars: The Force Awakens

J. J. Abrams' 2015 epic space-opera film bagged a whopping 2.06 billion dollars at the box office.

4. Avengers: Infinity War

The superhero film and 'Endgame' predecessor pocketed a total of 2.04 billion dollars in 2018.

Even by Bollywood standards, 'Endgame', with its estimated Rs 375 crore collection, surpasses the lifetime earnings of a number of blockbuster Bollywood flicks by a huge margin. With 'Sanju' at Rs 342.53 crore, 'PK' at Rs 340.8 crore and 'Tiger Zinda Hai' Rs 339.25 crore, 'Endgame' might soon turn these numbers into history.  However, the fight might still go strong against Bollywood's highest grosser of all times, 'Dangal', which had bagged Rs 387.38 crore in its lifetime.

'Avengers: Endgame' was honestly the most-anticipated movie of all time, especially since the cliff-hanger ending of 'Avengers: Infinity War'.

For the entire year between the two movies, fans were just predicting, coming up with theories about what could happen and a lot of them actually turned out to be true. (I just wanted the Ant-Man going up Thanos' butt one to be real, but whatever.)

So, it's not surprising that ever since April 26th, the biggest MCU movie has been breaking all records left, right, and centre. From quickly climbing up in the list of the highest-earning movies, to becoming the highest opening movie in India, 'Endgame' has broken records all over the globe.

6 Records That 'Avengers: Endgame' Has Already Broken

The movie completed one month yesterday, so here's looking back at all the great records it has already made and made Marvel Studios over $2.5 billion richer:

1. Biggest Global Opening Weekend

With a $1.2 billion worldwide box office opening, 'Endgame' beat the record previously held by 'Infinity War'.

2. Highest Grossing Opening Day In India

Beating out all the Hindi movies, 'Endgame' earned over Rs 53 crore on the first day itself and set a record. I think we all can vouch for this one just because of how much of a struggle it was to get first day tickets.

3. Highest Grossing Hollywood Movie In India

Again, no surprises here. The movie has earned over Rs 350 crore till now.

4. Fastest Movie To Hit 1.2 Billion USD

It took five days, just five days, for the movie to reach one freaking billion dollars. I can't even imagine how much money that actually is.

5. Fastest To Reach All The Main Check Points

An extension of the previous point, it's also the quickest movie to reach all the checkpoints - $500 million, $1 billion, $1.5 billion, $2 billion, and $2.5 billion. It took 'Avatar' 72 days to reach $2.5 billion, 'Endgame' did it in 20 days.

6. Second Highest Grossing Movie Of All Time

Yes, it hasn't quite beaten 'Avatar' yet, but it still did manage to do so with all the other movies on the list to take up the second spot for now. We all know 'Endgame' is coming for 'Avatar' soon.

Avengers Endgame Will Be Released Again With New Footage!

Avengers Endgame was the end of an era for all the nerdy Marvel fans out there and it made a mark. It was a rollercoaster of emotions for some, for some it was action packed and worth cheering up. The movie ended Marvel Cinematic Universe’s superhero saga and what they built when the first movie came out, i.e. Iron Man in 2008. Marvel combined called all the movies in this as ‘The Infinity Saga’. This was the end of Marvel’s phase four of superhero movies and that means we may get to see new superheroes in the future. So, Endgame is out of theaters, and recently, Marvel announced it’ll be pushing for a re-release which has all of us excited. What’s will be new? What’s different? Why release it again? We’re here to answer all your questions.

Below is the reason why Avengers: Endgame is being released again:

The movie premiered on 27th April 2019.

After a whole wait of a year since Infinity War released, came Endgame answering all our questions about what happened next, will the superheroes be resurrected and countless others.

By now, everyone must have watched it!

If you haven’t what are you doing with your life? Even DC fans have watched the movie by now and praised it.

The movie is being released again?

Yes. Marvel cum Disney is pushing for a re-release of the movie, but why?

The box office collection of the movie was great.

It earned $2.74 billion worldwide so far and that was purely magical and definitely, a proud moment for everyone’s hard work at the Marvel Studios.

Endgame could have been the highest earning movie of all time!

YES! Avatar’s collection stands at $2.79 billion worldwide and that’s just millions away from getting the title of the highest grosser.

And that’s probably the only reason why the movie is being released again.

Avatar’s record was made back in 2012 and so everyone expected Avengers Endgame to break the record but it just stopped at a few million behind.

Is Disney getting greedy?

Well, maybe yes. But, if you can be at the top with a little push why not? Also, it would be a great way to tribute the fallen ones and every Marvel fan could be happy. Well, now technically Disney has both the top grossers since it now owns Fox (Avatar) and Marvel (Endgame) so it’s a win-win for them.

What’s different? Should you go to watch it?

Marvel has claimed to add extra 6 minutes of footage in the movie which includes deleted scenes, a little tribute, and a few surprises at the end. Basically, there would be an end credits scene this time!

The internet is filled with On your Left memes regarding the release.

Everyone wants Endgame to beat Avatar and topple the charts, so let’s just hope for the best.

The release happens on 28th June 2019.

It’s exactly 4 days before Spiderman: Far From Home gets released and we can hope the whole weekend is a Marvel weekend, and it breaks all the records.

Things That Are Still A Mystery After The Avengers: Endgame

Avengers: Endgame is out! Most of you know what happens, I wouldn’t like to mention something that may potentially lead to a spoiler or something for those who have watched it. Our favorite characters from endgame have done “Whatever It Takes” and now it’s time for us to know the cast that played it. They have done a superb job in the past few years that led up to this moment. Let us appreciate them for their mind-blowing performances and look at how cute they were in their childhood.

Below are photos of all our favorite Avengers Cast when they were kids:

1. Robert Downey Jr./Iron Man.

“I am Iron Man” once said a legend. Yes, this is how my favorite Avenger looked like in his childhood.

2. Steve Rogers/Captain America.

The kid already looked like he had his whole life to live and grow old with a legacy behind him. Steve’s contract with Marvel might be over but his legacy as Captain America stays on.

3. Tom Holland/Spider-Man.

The youngest Avenger and probably the youngest cast member as well. Spider-Man: Homecoming proved amazing for this young actor and all of the success led him to this and more movies like the Spider-Man in the future.

4. Chris Hemsworth/Thor.

It’s his younger brother Liam Hemsworth with him in the photo, who knew both brothers would be great actors one day.

5. Scarlett Johansson/Black Widow.

The only female superhero for Marvel on the screen until this year. Black widow is a superhero without powers and Scarlett just nails the role among other superhits from her that include Lucy, Don Jon, Oscar-winning Her, and countless others with her contributions.

6. Chadwick Boseman/Black Panther.

The 2018 Academy Award went to Black Panther, it won in many categories that were a first for any superhero movie to achieve, young promising Chadwick Boseman never expected he’d star in something that would change his whole life.

7. Mark Ruffalo/Hulk.

8. Elizabeth Olsen/Scarlett Witch.

She looks as good and mostly resembling since her childhood.

9. Jeremy Renner/Hawkeye.

Hawkeye wasn’t a part of Infinity War in 2018 but he gets plenty of screentime in the Endgame.

10. Benedict Cumberbatch/Dr. Strange.

Benedict looked so cute in his childhood, that I would just steal him from his parents. He grew up to play fan favorite roles like Sherlock, Dr. Strange among many others.

11. Rocket.

You had it coming, didn’t you?

12. Brie Larson/Captain Marvel.

Captain Marvel was the new addition to the MCU this year past Endgame. Her childhood has been pretty exciting and amazing from what I can see.

13. Samuel L. Jackson/Nick Fury.

Nonetheless, not an Avenger, but the manager and mastermind behind the Avengers comes from a not so amazing background but does a fabulous job of acting that took him to these heights.
