I love that scene — not least because Cap is my favorite Avenger and this scene showcases just what a great soldier and leader he is. Let’s go down his orders Avenger by Avenger, just ‘cuz:
(Hawkeye) “Barton, I want you up on that roof, eyes on everything — call out patterns and strays!”
(Iron Man) “Stark you’ve got the perimeter — anything gets more than three blocks out, you turn it back or turn it to ash!”
(Thor) “Thor, you’ve gotta bottleneck that portal — slow ’em down! You’ve got the lightning — light the bastards up!”
(Black Widow) “You and me, we stay on the ground — keep the fighting here!”
(Hulk) “And Hulk? — SMASH!”
