For actress Nichelle Nichols, the first black woman to have a continuing co-starring role on TV, it was the beginning of a lifelong career in activism. On Nov. 22, 1968, an episode of “Star Trek” titled “Plato's Stepchildren” broadcast the first interracial kiss on American television.

I love Lucy. Hispanic Male and white female. Star trek had the 1st kiss be black and white. I love Lucy also had the 1st appearance of a woman and man sleeping in the same bed together.
