Colonel J.K. Bajaj

Colonel J.K. Bajaj has just become the first Indian to reach the South Pole at 0 degree latitude in Antarctica. Bajaj, principal of the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi, was considerably lower than the Indian Antarctica station at Dakshin Gangotri in February 28, 1989
