Muhammad Ali Pasha, is regarded as the founder of modern Egypt. He established dynasty that ruled Egypt and Sudan until the Egyptian Revolution of 1952. He was born on 4 March 1769 in the Ottoman province of Macedonia (now a part of modern Greece) to Albanian parents.
