India’s first mobile food testing laboratory will facilitate on-the-spot food safety tests is to be conducted in Goa. It has has been launched by the Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar in December 2017. This is the first ‘Food Safety on Wheel’ mobile laboratory in the nation.The vehicle is equipped to conduct tests to ensure the food quality of the food being made. This mobile laboratory costs Rs 45 lakh and it has been fully funded by the Centre of the Indian government.
