Dhaka
Before partition of India, it was 1905 when first time Dacca was named as a capital of Bengal and in 1956 it became the capital of East Pakistan and continued as a capital of Bangladesh war of independence in 1971. In 1982 the spelling was changed from ' Dacca' to 'Dhaka'.
