Three major impacts of the melting ice caps -
1. Melting ice caps raises sea levels because more water is added to the oceans.
2. More ice means more sunlight reflected back into space does not warm the surface and melting ice increase the warm temperature further as less ice means more sunlight is absorbed by the earth surface.
3. Higher temperature increases the volume of liquid (water) which further increases the sea level.
4. Less Ice means more vapor in the environment which speed up the further increment the temperature.
