Is it true that if you cry, your eyes get prettier?

People always say that if you cry your eyes get prettier and I'm not sure if that's true.

Partially yes and following may be two reasons behind it
1. When we cry, our eyes moisten up, it becomes glistening and shine with emotions.
2. When we cry, we may let go of some emotional and/or physical pain and may a times tears also destress us.
