Borg-Warner Automotive Company
The Borg-Warner company commissioned the trophy for presentation in 1936 to the winner of the 24th annual 500-mile race which was then part of the AAA Car Championship series. With some refurbishment it is still the trophy for the winner of the (now) Indianapolis 500.
