India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi was welcomed at Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi province, the hometown of President Xi Jinping.
He will be given the highest-level reception, with President Xi Jinping accompanying him throughout his stay in Xi'an. It was very rare for Chinese leaders to accompany foreign guests outside Beijing.
