Guatemala
The southerly boundary with the Cocos Plate to the west and the Caribbean Plate to the east is a transform fault, represented by the Cayman Trench under the Caribbean Sea and the Motagua Fault through Guatemala. This is not the same thing as the "North American continent" which, although some sources give its southern limit as the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, Mexico, is generally delimited on the southeast by the Darién watershed along the Colombia-Panama border, or at the Panama Canal.
