The sports were: archery, Para athletics, dartchery, snooker, Para swimming, table tennis, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair fencing. The only disability included in the 1960 Paralympics was spinal cord injury. By 2016 there were 22 sports and 10 eligible disabilities.
