The quote is from Paul's letter to his disciple, and later companion, Timothy, Timothy I verse 6:10. The New International Version of the Bible is an original English translation of the Bible in 1965 developed by more than one hundred scholars working from the best available Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek texts and monitored to incorporate changes in biblical scholarship and English usage.
