Atlas
The Atlas Mountains are a series of ranges which extend more than 1,200 miles (2,000 km) across north-western Africa, spanning Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia, from the Moroccan port of Agadir in the southwest to the Tunisian capital of Tunis in the northeast. The mountains separate the Atlantic and Mediterranean coastline in those areas from the Sahara Desert. The Jura Mountains are in Europe, the Altai in Mongolia, the Caucasus between Europe and Asia.
