Olympic Laurel
The intention of the award was to reconnect the Olympics with the ideals and values of the ancient Olympic Games, to honour those who have "made significant achievements in education, culture, development and peace through sport". The trophy features a laurel wreath and the Olympic rings (made out of Fairmined gold) mounted on a stone from ancient Olympia where the ancient Games were held.
