Aryan
The Aryan peoples migrated to India from Central Asia. The Vedic age is in the late Bronze Age/early Iron Age in the northern Indian subcontinent, between the end of the urban Indus Valley Civilisation and a second urbanisation which began (under Mauryan influence) in the central Ganges Plain. It is named for a series of liturgical texts composed during this time, the Vedas, which formed the basis of the Brahmin, or Brahman, ideology.
