Prof. Sanjeev Galande has won the prestigious G. D. Birla Award for Scientific Research for the year 2014. Instituted in 1991 by the K. K. Birla Foundation, the award is given in recognition of scientific research of high calibre to Indian scientists below the age of 50 years living and working in the country.
