It is played at the Paralympics, a combination of darts and archery where darts players and wheelchair archers compete, with both using the same target, a dartboard exactly three times the size of a standard darts board but with the same configuration. It was included in 1954 in the Stoke Mandeville Games which then became the Paralympics in 1960. Dartchery was then formally included as part of the programme at those first Paralympics.
