Mahendra Bhalla was a noted playwright and Hindi writer. He has written some memorable plays, including ‘Dimaag-e-hasti, Dil Ki Basti Hai Kahan, Hai Kahan’. He was conferred with Hindi Akademi Award, among several other honours.
