They are: Chile (Rapa Nui, or Easter Island), France (Wallis and Futuna, French Polynesia), New Zealand (the Kermadecs), the United States (American Samoa, Palmyra Atoll, Baker Island, Howland Island, Jarvis Island, Johnston Atoll, Kingman Reef, Hawai'i), and Australia (Norfolk Island). Several other countries - as well as some of the countries already listed - hold territories in the Pacific in areas outside the Polynesian Triangle. The other countries are Ecuador, Japan, Indonesia and the UK.
