A card game
The game is played with a German deck and 33 cards. Perlaggen is the name for wild cards. Playing is usually 4-handed, in 2 partnerships, with discussions and signalling between partners during play on tactics, so much so that it has been described as "not so much a card game as a tactical discussion facilitated by playing-cards".
