Burma/Myanmar
The revolution was in 2007. It was a series of non-violent protests triggered by the decision of the national military government to remove subsidies on the sales prices of fuel. Protests were led by students and political activists, and Buddhist monks whose saffron robes gave the name to the Revolution.
