Any plant using tumbling as a means of seed or spore dispersal
In North America several of the plants which use this form of dispersal are often known as tumbleweed, but in fact it is a term for the tumbling system of a number of different plants and fungi where the largely dead structure breaks free of the root and tumbles to disperse or transport its seeds or spores.
