It was officially removed from the German language
The word meant "the law concerning the delegation of duties for the supervision of beef labelling", referring to inspection requirements after the BSE crisis in the 1990s, and disappeared as a current word when the law was repealed by the state MPs in Mecklenburg Western Pomerania. It had been nominated in 1999 as one of the words of the year by the Society for German Language.
