Partition theory
Partition theory deals with the ways in which a positive whole number can be broken up into other whole numbers. Polygonal numbers are those which represent the number of apices of a polygon together with the number of equally spaced points along the sides and the same pattern of the same polygon(s) which can be drawn from those intermediate points.
