None, it was written as an independent poem to praise India and first sung it in Calcutta Session of the Indian National Congress on 27 December 1911. The complete song is 5 stanzas long and only the first stanza has been adopted as the National Anthem of India.

It was written in highly Sanskritised Bengali, composed and scored by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore himself. However there is a lot of controversy as many believe that it was written to praise for King George 5th by comparing him with Lord Krishna. [Though this is not true as Tagore wrote the first draft of Jana Gana Mana in sanskritised bengali in 1908 atleast 2 years before the plan for the King to visit India was drawn up, It was sung at a assembly of Indian National Congress on 27 Dec 1911 whereas King George visited India on 30 Dec 1911]
