Switzerland would be a good example of this, neutral in WWII although Im told they have a superb armed forces. Possibly the Republic Of Ireland which although neutral in WWII it did give sucker to German U - Boats and their crews possibly because the Irish and Germans had a common enemy in the British and there was some IRA - Nazi collberation.
