Gila Monster

Gila Monster is the only venomous lizard in the U.S. (other being its close relative, the Mexican beaded lizard) and one of two venomous lizards in North America. Its found in the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexican state of Sonora. It is a heavy, slow-moving lizard which can grow up to 60 cm in length.
