Raziya Sultan

She was the daughter of Shams-ud-din Iltutmish. Iltumtmish became the first man to appoint a woman (Raziya) as his successor in the year of 1236. She ruled Delhi from 10 November 1236 till 13 October 1240 and lost the empire to her brother Muizuddin Bahram Shah in a succession war and lost her life too.
