Swami Vivekanand was born in Calcutta on 12 January 1863 to a lawyer family. He was called Narendranath in his childhood. He was brilliant in his studies from his childhood. He was disciple of Guru Ramkrishna Paramhansa. He had a significant role in the spread of Hinduism and Hindu culture worldwide. His speech at the Parliament of Religions in Chicago on Hinduism had stunned the entire audience. Vivekanand advocated that man of all religions must assimilate the spirit of others and yet preserve his own individuality and grow according to his own law of growth. He established the Ramkrishna Mission with an objective to refine and spread Hindu culture. Through this mission the weaknesses of Hindu religion were severely criticized. He even travelled the entire country on foot for his objective. On 4 July 1902 he met his death.

Inspiring and motivational quotes of  By Swami Vivekanand.

  1. Purity, perseverance, and energy— these three I want.
  2. Purity, patience and perseverance overcome all obstacles. All great things must of necessity be slow.
  3. Say, "I can do everything" "Even if poison of a snake is powerless if you can firmly deny it."
  4. Say, "This misery that I am suffering is of my own doing, and that very thing proves that it will have to be undone by me alone."
  5. Take courage and work on. Patience and steady work— this is the only way.
  6. Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life - think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success, that is way great spiritual giants are produced.
  7. "The earth is enjoyed by heroes"— this is the unfailing truth. Be a hero. Always say, "I have no fear".
  8. The remedy for weakness is not brooding over weakness, but thinking of strength.
  9.  Anything that makes you weak physically, intellectually and spiritually, reject as poison.
  10. Talk to yourself at  least  once in a Day. Otherwise you may miss a meeting with an  EXCELLENT person in this World.
  11. Relationships are more important than life , but it is important for those relationships to have life in them.
  12.  You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul.
  13. Like me or Hate me,
    both are in my favor,
If you like me I am in your Heart,
If you hate me I am in your mind. –
  14. BY the study of different religions we find that in essence they are one. -
  15.  Where can we go to find God if we cannot see Him in our own hearts and in every living being.
  16. Fill the brain with high thoughts, highest ideals place them day and night before you and out of that  will come great work.
  17. Where can we go to find God if we cannot see Him in our own hearts and in every living being.
  18.  You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul.
  19. This is the great fact: strength is life, weakness is death. Strength is felicity, life eternal, immortal; weakness is constant strain and misery: weakness is death.
  20. To succeed, you must have tremendous perseverance, tremendous will. 'I will drink the ocean', says the persevering soul, 'at my will mountains will crumble up.' Have that sort of energy, that sort of will, work hard, and you will reach the goal.
  21. Truth can be stated in a thousand different ways, yet each one can be true.
  22. We are responsible for what we are, and whatever we wish ourselves to be, we have the power to make ourselves. If what we are now has been the result of our own past actions, it certainly follows that whatever we wish to be in future can be produced by our present actions; so we have to know how to act.
  23. We are what our thoughts have made us; so take care about what you think. Words are secondary. Thoughts live; they travel far.
  24. We reap what we sow. We are the makers of our own fate. None else has the blame, none has the praise.
  25. Whatever you think, that you will be. If you think yourselves weak, weak you will be; if you think yourselves strong, strong you will be; if you think yourselves impure, impure you will be; if you think yourselves pure, pure you will be.
  26. 3 golden words from Swami Vivekananda

  • Who is Helping You, Don’t Forget them.
  • Who is Loving you, Don’t Hate them .
  • Who is Believing you, Don’t Cheat them.

Mark Zuckerberg is an American computer programmer and Internet entrepreneur. He is a co-founder of Facebook, and currently operates as its chairman and chief executive officer. His net worth is estimated to be US$63.3 billion as of May 2017, and he is ranked by Forbes as the fifth richest person in the world.

The biggest risk is not taking any risk... In a world that changing really quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks.

Facebook was not originally created to be a company. It was built to accomplish a social mission - to make the world more open and connected.

I wear the same outfit or, at least, a different copy of it almost every day.

A frustration I have is that a lot of people increasingly seem to equate an advertising business model with somehow being out of alignment with your customers. I think it's the most ridiculous concept.

Our goal is not to build a platform; it's to be cross all of them.

I think a simple rule of business is, if you do the things that are easier first, then you can actually make a lot of progress.

Figuring out what the next big trend is tells us what we should focus on.

When I started Facebook from my dorm room in 2004, the idea that my roommates and I talked about all the time was a world that was more open.

I actually do think you're seeing this trend towards organizations just caring more about their brand and engaging. And so I think Home Depot will want to humanize itself. I think that's a lot of why companies are starting blogs, are just giving more insight into what's going on with them.

Move fast and break things. Unless you are breaking stuff, you are not moving fast enough.

By giving people the power to share, we're making the world more transparent.

I'm trying to make the world a more open place.

There are good examples of companies - Coca-Cola is one - that invested before there was a huge market in countries, and I think that ended up playing out to their benefit for decades to come

People at Facebook are fairly used to the press being nice to us or not nice to us.

We're running the company to serve more people.

A squirrel dying in front of your house may be more relevant to your interests right now than people dying in Africa.

The thing that we are trying to do at facebook, is just help people connect and communicate more efficiently.

The basis of our partnership strategy and our partnership approach: We build the social technology. They provide the music.

The question isn't, 'What do we want to know about people?', It's, 'What do people want to tell about themselves?'

He has scored over 500 senior career goals for club and country. You have to fight to reach your dream.

"Quotes'

.There are more important things in life than winning or losing a game.

I always thought I wanted to play professionally, and I always knew that to do that I'd have to make a lot of sacrifices. I made sacrifices by leaving Argentina, leaving my family to start a new life. I changed my friends, my people. Everything. But everything I did, I did for football, to achieve my dream.

Money is not a motivating factor. Money doesn't thrill me or make me play better because there are benefits to being wealthy. I'm just happy with a ball at my feet. My motivation comes from playing the game I love. If I wasn't paid to be a professional footballer I would willingly play for nothing.

What I do is play soccer, which is what I like.

Sometimes you have to accept you can't win all the time.

In football as in watchmaking, talent and elegance mean nothing without rigour and precision.

Today I am the happiest man in the world, my son was born and thanks to God for this gift.

Nah, I've always had a great relationship with my two brothers, I have always had their support in my football and in everything. They've been very close to me and we have a great relationship.

I have fun like a child in the street. When the day comes when I'm not enjoying it, I will leave football.

When the year starts the objective is to win it all with the team, personal records are secondary.

I am competitive and I feel bad when we lose. You can see it in me when we've lost. I'm in a bad way. I don't like to talk to anyone.

I've always really just liked football, and I've always devoted a lot of time to it. When I was a kid, my friends would call me to go out with them, but I would stay home because I had practice the next day. I like going out, but you have to know when you can and when you can't.

It seems like people want to blame me for everything. Whenever any issue arises, I'm said to have been involved even if I've had nothing to do with it. That's why I always focus on what I know, which is playing football, and try to be very careful with what I say because people always

The truth is my idea has been to always stay at Barcelona and see out the rest of my career here. Like I always say, one doesn't know what can happen in the future, but if it were up to me to decide, I would stay at Barcelona for the rest of my career.

The truth is that I don't have a favourite goal. I remember important goals more than I do favourite goals, like goals in the Champions League where I had the opportunity to have scored in both finals I have played in. Finals in the World Cup or Copa del Rey are the ones that have stayed with me for longer or that I remember more.

It's not so easy for us when we play teams who have a different mindset, like Chelsea or Inter Milan, because they have the intention of trying to stop us rather than playing a game that is more attractive for the spectators to enjoy.

I've never stopped being Argentine, and I've never wanted to. I feel very proud of being Argentine, even though I left there. I've been clear about this since I was very young, and I never wanted to change. Barcelona is my home because both the club and the people here have given me everything, but I won't stop being Argentine.

I repeat what I always say: I want the best for Argentina in every way. I never try to make trouble for anybody.

Whether it's a friendly match, or for points, or a final, or any game - I play the same. I'm always trying to be my best, first for my team, for myself, for the fans, and to try and win.

I have many years to get better and better, and that has to be my ambition. The day you think there is no improvements to be made is a sad one for any player.

I never think about the play or visualize anything. I do what comes to me at that moment. Instinct. It has always been that way.

For my part, I try to do my bit to make people's lives more bearable, in particular children across the globe who are having problems.

  • A good leader can engage in a debate frankly and thoroughly, knowing that at the end he and the other side must be closer, and thus emerge stronger. You don't have that idea when you are arrogant, superficial, and uninformed.

  • There is no such thing as part freedom.
  • Our single most important challenge is therefore to help establish a social order in which the freedom of the individual will truly mean the freedom of the individual.
  • There is no easy walk to freedom anywhere, and many of us will have to pass through the valley of the shadow of death again and again before we reach the mountaintop of our desires.
