Chittaranjan

Chittaranjan is a suburb of Asansol at Burdwan District in the state of West Bengal, India. It is famous for Chittaranjan Locomotive Works. Chittaranjan Locomotive Works is a state-owned electric locomotive manufacturer based in India and one of the largest locomotive manufacturers in the world. It was Founded in 1950 and was named after the Indian freedom-fighter Chittaranjan Das.
