Thanks for the query.

The atomic number of an atom is the number of protons in its nucleus.

Atomic mass is given in most cases as (almost) the combined number of protons and neutrons in an atom.

In case an element has got two or more isotopes, the atomic weight is given as the weighted average of atomic masses of these isotopes which exist in nature.
