One of the Box contains gold
and the other two are empty.
A Printed message contains in each Box.
One of the message is true
and the other two are lies.

The 1st box says "Gold is not here"
The 2nd box says "Gold is not here"
The 3rd box says "Gold is in the second box".
Which box has the Gold?

1st box has the gold... 1st and 3rd are lies...2nd msg is true.
Because if gold is in 2nd box then both 1st and 3rd becomes true msgs.
Similarly, if gold is in 3rd box then both 1st and 2nd becomes true msgs. so, the condition is fulfilled only if gold is in 1st box.

The process of elimination tells you that if you look in the 3rd box first and find no gold and are then directed to the 2nd box by the message in the 3rd box and still find no gold, then the only box left is the 1st box: Answer - 1st box.
