you are given four different jars of 2 litres, 4 litres, 6 litres and 8 litres respectively with an unlimited water supply. Then you are asked to measure exactly 5 liters of water using them.
How will you do it?
I dont think it can be solved as 5 is a odd number and all the given jars are even number. Any + or - between two even numbers produces only even so it cant be solved.
Any crazy person who can solve it ...
If we have to measure precisely, it is impossible. Because we are asked to measure odd number of liters whereas all the jars we have can contain only even liters of water.

There is a 5 gallon and a 3 gallon box. You also have a hose with unlimited water. How are you gonna make the 5 gallon have 4 gallons using your items? (You do not know the exact measure measurements of a gallon)
You have three buckets with a capacity of 4 litres, 8 litres and 10 litres and you have a large tank of water. Now you have to measure 3 litres of water precisely using those buckets. How will you do it?
