A train 220 m long is running with a speed of 60 kmph. In what time will it pass a man who is running at 6 kmph in the direction opposite to that in which the train is going?
speed of train = 60 km /hr
speed of man = 6km/hr
because the direction is opposite so
final speed = 66km/hr = 66 *5/18 = 55/3 mt/sec
dist = 220 mt
time = dist /speed = 220 / 55/3 = 220*3 /55 = 12sec
