Can you start the fire using two pieces of woods?

Yes, you can start a fire by rubbing two sticks of wood . One of the stick is shaped like a rod and the other is shaped like a flat surface with a longitudinal groove. The rod is rubbing along the groove until smoke is produced. Finally some burning coal is generated which can be used to start the fire by dropping into dried fibers and blowing air.
