When the day after tomorrow is yesterday,
meaning, there will be only 4 days : Y ; T ; Tom ; DAF

then today will be as far from Wednesday as today was from Wednesday

when the day before yesterday was tomorrow.
meaning, there will be only 3 days : Y ; T ; Tom

that means today has to be "Wednesday"
