so one tin cost Rs 9.9
5 tins cost Rs 49.5
so, buy 5 tins of cost 49.5
and you get 1 tin free
so now you will have 6 tins
now buy another 5 tins and another 5 tins
totally yo will have 18 tins for a cost of Rs 148.5
lastly buy 2 tins of cost 2 x 9.9 =Rs 19.8
totally you will get 20 tins for only 148.5+19.8=Rs 168.3

solution: 10tins cost 99 so it's a price for 9 tins as one is free on 5 tins. Now 20tins total out of which 3 are free i.e. 3 on 15 it becomes 18 and remaining 2 + 15 = 17*11=187
