I have a paper strip of 24x12. On folding it along its diagonal, what is the area of overlapping part of the paper?

S overlap= S paper/2 - S side triangle
S paper/2=24*12/2=144
Side triangle has 30 deg angle and a side of 12, therefore the other side = 12* sin 30= 6 so S side triangle= 12*6/2=36
S overlap=144-36=108
