Who do you think will reach the hotel first?

Aarav and Mohan are planning on a vacation. Aarav says, "It will be better if we take the train to the hotel. We will reach faster."
To this, Mohan says, "No. You are wrong. The train stops at halfway to the hotel and then we will have to walk the rest of the way. We should take the bikes to the hotel directly."
Aarav says, "You are wrong."

Now, Aarav takes the train while Mohan takes the bike. The train travels with four times the speed of bike. The bike travels at twice the speed of walking.

Who do you think will reach the hotel first?

Answer 1

Lets assume distance is 80 KM and speed of walk is 10km/h speed of bike is 20 km/h while speed of train is 40 km/h
Now the case 1 where Aarav is travelling 40 km by train and 40 km by walk so total time is 1+4 i.e. 5 Hrs
Now the case 2 Mohan is traveling by bike so total time is 4 hr

Hence Mohan will reach first :)
